Building contruction workers for hire.

It will be nice if people from a town can hire an outsider to work on building constructions for them. They save time but they pay money to the outsider. If the outsider works for 30 minutes, he gets $60, basically equal amount if the town members are gonna build it themselves. The outsider gets experience besides the wages he get.

Hmmm... there are some advantages if you belong in a town, like getting a donkey for $250 instead of $1,000. So I think $60 should be lowered a little bit?

Good idea, except that it is very much exploitable.

We have 2 players, from 2 different towns. Let's call them Player A and Player B, from Town X and Town Y.

Town X sets up a construction job in which 600$ can be earned for 5 hours of work. Player B knows this (because they made an arrangement) and takes the job for the full 5 hours. He takes the 600$ and deposits it into the account of Town Y. Town Y then sets up a construction job for 600$, which Player A takes for 5 hours. Player A then deposits the money in the Town X account, and sets up a job for 600$. And please continue onward for infite free town upgrades.

Your theory has a hole VInWij. The suggestion was that the construction was twice as expensive with hired force, whereas $600 would be paid to the town for construction, and an additional $600 would be paid to the worker. So the town has spent $1200, the worker has earned $600.

Which means, following your system Town Y and Town X would just drive eachother out of money, and work lots for twice the price:p

Then, why would a town ever waste money hiring external people when there are always people available inside the town itself?

It's all just a matter of getting the maximum number of building points for the least amount of money. Adding an option that costs more for less points will not work anyway, I believe.

Hiring outsiders will give the town's members a chance to continue looking for more money and questing instead of consuming precious time at the town building the stuff. You cant be working a total of 5 hours in a town where you don't even belong. Even before you were hired a fixed contract was made by the town's members permitting you to work for them in only 1 hour on a specific building project and be paid $60. The town's members will normally spend $120 for one hour of construction labor, but the outsider gets $60 of that money but he completes enough construction points deserving for one hour labor. Two hour construction requires $240, the outsider gets $90 but he still completes enough construction points for a 2 hour labor. He cant work on that town unless the town's members offer another job for hire. Only the town's founder and councilors can make job for hire offers. Towns offering jobs for hire will have a sign when you look at them in the map or the minimap.

I like that idea. The town spends the normal amount of money and the builder earns half that amount.

The pay should be set by the town owner or someone else incharge!
That way there would be proffessional workers and competition between best paying towns. This would make this more interesting.
