if he/she is new then what might throw them off is the "purchase price" listed on each product and item tag.

You know, it would be nice if you could buy a product that has a very low % chance of finding it BUT only after you have tried for at least, say, 24 hours working to get it.
That would stop people from just getting it too easily, but have the game check to see if they have, for example, Guarded the Fort 12 x 2 hours and if they have it appears at full price in the shops for them.
No idea how hard/tricky that would be to implement but I would like it.
