Does anyone have any good ideas on geting lazy town members up to build things? I have already kicked a few out of town but that seems not to be a good options.

Town founder = nagging, more nagging and more nagging. Consistently.
Donate money guys, build quicker builders, duel the enemy duelers

Tell them something like work or i will kick you from the town and all the town members will attack you 24/7

if they see that you are freindly then they will do as you say.
i have found an excelent way to get people to work harder in one of my towns.
im the founder (and the nice guy)
then i got a "second in command" (hes the bad guy)
he tells them all that i want to say in a not allways to nice way.
and i come in and say came down, they do what they can. and then i say he might not have a nice way of saying it but that he is right in what he says.
i end up looking as a hero and they do as they are told
if they see that you are freindly then they will do as you say.

Make good use of your town forum and be friendly, they'll like you enough and probably help out.
