This suggestion is not only for here, but might also be implimented on TW as well... could the "Quote Buttons" not disappear when on the reply screen? As many people (such as myself) like to refer back to more then one reply above their own at a time, and copying and pasting can get annoying when you have to then go through and delete the date/other unnessessary words every time.

They do this so that players don't quote unnecessarily long posts or play "quote train" games. Also, if someone posts something offensive, other players don't constantly keep quoting it, whether they mean to or just want to continue the conversation.

It's true that it can get irritating every now and then, but it's there for a reason.

What about the multi quote button?

That doesn't allow quote-in-quote messages that stretch the page. It's a select feature that allows you to designate single posts you would like to quote. They'd all be separate, though.

One other factor are "quote pyramids" which after awhile, can break a topic.
