Due to a recent pattern of fort battle declarations rising to the level of abuse in violation of the Spam policy:
https://forum.the-west.net/index.php?threads/policies-for-spam-fort-battles.61409/
specifically: 'that have as a primary effect interference with the gameplay of others,'
an intervention is being taken on Colorado:
Until further notice, outside of the established Prime Time series of battles:
- individual towns/allies, will be limited to 1 declaration per 40h. (individual towns deemed to be coordinating their digs will be treated as allies)
- any declarations between 12:00 and 18:00 that fall less than 6h before the day's prime-time battle are subject to being cancelled without notice.
- any declarations that falls less than 6h after the day's prime-time battle are subject to being cancelled without notice.
note:
- This policy is expected to remain in place at least through the first week of the DotD event.
- normal prime time battles do not count against the 1 declaration per 40h.
- cancelled battles continue to count towards the 1 declaration per 40h.
This as a policy restriction, enforced by the fort battle team, not a mechanical restriction -- the game will not prevent you from digging. Should a battle be declared in violation of this policy it may be cancelled without notice. Repeat offenses shall result in referral for punishment of the offending players.
