i tried hundred of times but i cannot defeat burglar in "John moves out (A note)" what shoul i do to be able to defeat him. i have good items equipped

try doge gear or shooting/vigor and aim gear if you have any, or wait a couple levels?

No, make sure you're in your town. Then, keep attacking him, and find out where he aims and where he dodges, and keep trying. If you pass out, just keep trying again until you're lucky and he doesn't hit you, and you hit him once.

rather than wasting a ton of time you could be gaining xp, level up a bit and improve those dueling skills then come back to it...not like your gonna be able to grab notes 1 and 3 anytime soon anyway....that will take a while. this strategy worked for me..
