i want to sell my tobacco to a general store but it says i have to ivsit that city idk how help

To visit a city (or town), you click on that town on your screen. In the middle (bottom) of the town you will see a sign post. Just click on it and choose to walk and you can visit it 
However, to sell your tobacco, just open your inventory and click on the Merchant (the old guy on the right of the headgear slot). You can sell any of your items to him
