youll know if you got an item when you either check your reports and you click on "Job finished: Putting up posters" youll see if you got an item at the bottom of the report...

well i found some thing till now....
- rusty razor blade (7-11 damage)
some slingshots ... I sold them
and some rocks or marbles .. whatever , rubish ....
about 4x grey cap (+5 Toughness)
Grey bonnet (+8 swimming)

Really? LOL I have been doing the quest at least once a day for over 1 1/2 weeks and still no damn flag. I have advanced from level 12 to almost 20 now.

I found it from the 2nd try.... you are just having bad luck , or you are doing it to ofthen and the motivation is low
