On World 3, I've done carving out claims 5 times and had :
$32
$33
$36
$41
$48
And yes I am an adventurer....
Each time started with 100% and finished with 96%.
Having looked through my job reports, those are my highest paid jobs EVER.
Most of them have been between $6 and $20 - is this an average or am I just really unlucky?

I've gotten the roll of cloth 3 times, and gray hat, which puts +12 on setting traps. And a slingshot, the real one, not the rotten one. Oh and brown cotton shoes which adds 1 to strength and a few other things.

Yeah it's real. When you find an item I think it just randomly chooses any item that has a value equal to what the value is that it randomly decides.
the mustang sells for $45 less than the rusty revolver, which I found first - probably since the motivation was slightly less.
my friend found an even better revolver doing robbing settlers, so I know you can get even better items, but at least i can use mine in a couple levels.
I wonder what the BEST item anyone has found in a job so far is.
