Study on the time taken to get/complete fishing rod

I got mine on my first try at fishing. It had nothing do with a quest to get the rod. Does that count? I set it for two hours.

well I did fishing for 36hrs and never got the rod, and stayed at level 1 for about 3 days. I decided to just go with doing regular quests, and got to level 10 in about half that time just doing regular quests.

Got mine first 30min along with trout then another when when doing quest

My second try was far more successful than 51 hours. This time it took me "only" 19 hours and 30 minutes. First was on W1, second on W12.

Is this study still going on?

I also got the rod in my second 2 hours. I was level 12 by then, having specced for construction I had to wait until I found some gear to help me. I was only trying to get some trout for that lazy bastich Henry. But it was still worth it for the extra XP and cash.

After 6 more hours, I now have 14 spare fishies.

I did 2 half-hour sessions in order to get a trout and then found a rod in my first 2 hours :D
