seems to be back up now, although I've had a few timeouts on it abd general slow loading.

Seems fine to me. I can look up all jobs and jobs by horseback riding. What is it that isn't working for you?

DeletedUser

Well for almost 2hours it was down. and now it's still unuseable

Why do you think it's the server? It could be your computer, your LAN, your Internet Service Provider or anything between your ISP and the server. Since others can use the site fine, chances are its a problem more specific to your realm.

Well it's still running slow but it is finally completing the process of making the job calculator list that is wasn't before... started with it not answering... then went to answering but not completing any query.. and now the queries complete but the site is still slow but working.. so that is why it was/is the site/server oh and
p.s. that is while both the forum and the game were both answering without a problem

The forum & game are hosted in Germany. WestStats isn't. So it could easily be something other than a server issue. I've been using WestStats fine this morning, from Western Canada. Really, there are far too many possibilites to say definitively where the issue you are experiencing originates, without some proper network testing.

Try running a trace route to the weststats.com domain server (from the command line type "tracert 82.133.85.201" - enter). Then compare it to a trace route to the game server (212.72.191.69).

It could even be a series of issues, involving the server or not.

Importing Inventory to Weststats

Hi all,

Tried to update my inventory on weststats and it came up with an error message. The script that gets pasted into browser has changed since yesterday.

Thanks for a great game

The old script is still working. I have both of them bookmarked and haven't updated inventory yet, but it still works. If you're using IE, try the old script, or switch browsers to a decent one. ;)

Woe is me

Well, looks like we're stuck in the same boat.

I contacted theweststats team, hoping for a reply within 24 hours

Well, you could always just check manually, like those of us who don't use that tool do.

Yeah but when your chainsaw breaks do you start using a hand saw or wait for your chainsaw to be fixed?

Old Swedish woodsman: "Yumpin' Yiminy, vhat's dat noise???"

Thing is, I find good jobs to do without asking anybody to tell me anything. It doesn't take very long, and once I know I can do one, I tend to remember it and do it a lot of times. And it's simple enough to look through my inventory of each class of item and pick out the one with the most to offer for that job. Sure, a tool could help speed up that figuring-out process, but I only need to do that occasionally.

Under no circumstances would I "wait" though. Thar's gold in them thar hills! :D

In the job calculator the fluid width seems to have changed from looping the the skills column (which is fine) to looping the difficulty/labour points column instead. To be honest, I'd prefer if the central column was fixed width because I don't need to see the poll, but that's just me. :) But the labour point looping is bad for readability.
