I think they can see how many times their home page is refreshed, and they are delaying it on purpose because:

1) It get's the webstats up - more and more hits. And
2) They love laughing at you all as you all desperately hope to be rank 1.

To be fair the announcement thread says:

"from around 14:00 server time"

That means that it won't be before 14:00, but niether will it be AT 14:00.

Well I will have about six weeks till the next semester starts after next week.

It is strange how Tracey had the thread for joining a town in W5 up at 13:00 CET and here it is going on 15:00 CET and not open yet.

They put it up early to stop everyone spamming the other forums after the world has opened saying 'Make a world 5 forum!!!!'.

yea but now we are spamming the w5 from with "WHEN DOES IT START????"
