Same thing happened to me, but I only lost like 57 Healt Points.

But I was shocked when I saw that a Horse can almost kill you, when in reality it can...anyway I was just making sure if it is real.

i don't get in when working on Setting Up Telegraph Poles whenever i get electricuted i lose 1 hp.

1 HP!! only for being electricuted.

was kicked by a horse while working on the job breaking horses and lost 354 hp and all my money, i woke up in a motel room (even thou i wasnt in a town when i looked at the map to see which towns motel)
i only had 2 in my labor points so i never went back to bronk riding again till i had atleast 10 labor points
