Granted. 8:00pm ticks by at 7:52pm instead but Santa doesn't get to your house until 5:30pm Boxing Day due to reindeer having diarrhea over Columbia and a specialist vet having to be flown in from Lapland.

I wish some public transport was open on Christmas Day.

Granted but you didn't state wich year. So more transport is open on Christmas Day 3021 by which time Christmas will be gone because all religon will have benn disproved.
